Last Friday took an unexpected turn, when I was idly browsing on Gumtree. This wasn’t exactly unplanned (the main reason for purchasing a house in the first place being that landlords generally don’t allow pets) but the situation did develop very rapidly from idle browsing to gleefully speeding along in the car clutching a cat box borrowed from the parents.

So, we a delighted to introduce our 2 new family members. Here they are in the cat box on their way to their new home.
