(Continuation of https://bryonywillis.wordpress.com/2014/06/15/elderflower-cordial-1/)

24 hours later we drained and bottled it. We filled up 4 of the Ikea stopper bottles and had 1 wine bottle full to spare. It’s very sugary but the elderflower flavour comes through very well. So far it has tasted good with water, with tonic water, and (my personal favourite) as an addition to gin and tonic. Next thing on my list of things to try: elderflower ice cubes!

why not make elderflower champagne.. free alcohol! http://cookingwithmrfitz.com/2014/07/13/mr-fitz-goes-pop/

It’s on my list for next year!! Sadly all the elderflowers are long gone – but I’ll definitely brew something up this year with the elderberries!!! 🙂
