Took another step closer to garden glory this weekend – managed to snatch some time in between driving unreasonable distances and bridesmaiding to construct a flatpack trellis planter. After a few minor set backs (who has torx head screwdrivers these days anyway??) it was ready and adding a bit of country cottage charm to my as-yet-underwhelming garden.

Next day most of the sweet peas had already developed side shoots. Fingers crossed for blooms soon.
