Soooo we returned to the allotment the next day and found this bad boy:

It’s insane how fast they grow – left any longer and I think we might have had a marrow! In total we’ve harvested three so far, I think we’ll get 2 more tomorrow and there are five or six little ‘uns on the way. Feels like the calm before the storm, just wait until the crookneck squash get going!
